Buying tips

Choose berries that are plump, vibrant and without blemishes. Follow your nose: The rule is the more fragrant they are, the more flavourful they will be. Check their firmness by giving the container a gentle shake. If they’re stuck together, they’re likely overripe.

Refrigerate unwashed berries in their container until ready to use. If freezing, wash well and dry before freezing them on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet in a single layer. Once frozen, transfer to a bag and pop them back in the freezer.

Cleaning and prepping
Rinse berries well under cool water before enjoying as is, or in a favourite recipe — like our Maple-Berry Smoothie.
